Alibi: the whiteboard lying game that scales from beginners to advanced
ALIBI: Class Game Rules
Setup:
- One student leaves the room
- Class decides on a "crime" (something missing or broken)
- Student comes back and has 60 seconds to invent an alibi—where they were last night
Questions (5 minutes):
- Class asks questions in English to catch the student lying
- If the student contradicts themselves, hesitates more than 3 seconds, or changes a detail → they LOSE
- If they survive 5 minutes with the same story → they WIN
Example questions:
- Where were you at 8pm?
- Who were you with?
- What did you eat?
- How did you go there?
- What were you wearing?
Your turn: When you are the volunteer, remember your story. One mistake and you lose.
