Word Ladder Wipe
- Works best with 8 to 15 students; split into two or more teams so nobody waits too long for a turn.
- Needs zero prep: one whiteboard, one marker, no printing.
- Set the time limit before you start (8 to 10 minutes works well) so the game has a clean ending.
- Decide your house rule on plurals, proper nouns, and silent letters before round one to avoid arguments mid-game.
- For a stronger class: ban any word under four letters, or require a new category each round (only food words, only school words).
