What an F-4 or F-6 Visa Actually Lets You Do in a Korean Classroom
- Confirm your exact F-subtype before assuming document requirements; F-2, F-4, F-5 and F-6 are not interchangeable in every rule.
- If a hagwon asks for an apostille or degree verification and you're on an F-visa, ask which visa their template is written for. It's usually E-2 by default.
- Call Hi Korea (1345) if a director insists on a document you don't think applies. Free, and settles the argument fast.
- Keep proof of your visa status (ARC, visa sticker or confirmation letter) on hand for HR, since not every school's paperwork is set up to recognize F-series visas.
