Uncountable Nouns Trip Up Korean Speakers: Advice, Information, Furniture Have No Plural
- Don't correct "informations" with just "no -s here" — students need the category (uncountable), not a spelling fix, or the mistake returns with a different noun next week.
- The sorting drill (Drill 1) should always come before the much/many drill. Skipping straight to much/many just relocates the confusion.
- Watch for "homework" specifically — it's one of the most common misses because 숙제 is used casually to mean "a homework assignment," which reads as countable in translation even though English "homework" never pluralizes.
- If a student insists a sentence "sounds fine," ask them to say it out loud slowly. Ear-training catches what rule-explaining doesn't.
