Should Foreign Workers in Korea Get a Lower Minimum Wage? A Debate Lesson
- Keep the Seoul pilot background to three plain sentences — don't get pulled into policy detail your students can't verify anyway.
- Assign debate sides at random, not by personal belief, or the quieter side gets no volunteers.
- Watch for students drifting into comparing this to their own part-time wage; that's a related but separate legal question, redirect gently.
- Strong closer: ask who changed their mind during the debate, and why. That's usually where the best English comes out.
