Korea's Four-Day Workweek Pilots Give Your Adult Class a Debate They're Already Living
- Keep the vote at the end genuinely open — don't signal your own opinion beforehand, this works better when students think you're neutral.
- Higher-level classes can add a sixth question: "Should the government mandate this, or should it stay a company choice?"
- If a student's company already runs a 4.5-day system, let them lead that part — it beats anything you can say about it secondhand.
- Watch the clock on the pair discussion. Adult classes tend to run long on question 5 because everyone has a number in their head already.
