Teacher notes — Classroom Games
Board Tennis: The Whiteboard Rally Game That Scales From One Word to Full Sentences
- Pick the rule before class starts — write it on a sticky note so you don't drift mid-game.
- Clap out loud for the 5-second count; kids argue timing less when they can hear it.
- Mix teams yourself. Left to choose, strong students clump together and the round ends fast.
- With 15+ students, run three teams and rotate one out as "judges" each round — they check entries against the rule.
- If energy dies, drop the difficulty one level (full sentence → phrase) instead of ending the round.
