| Introduction/Comments |
Base salary starts at 2,000,000-2,200,000 won depending on qualifications & experience
* $2,500 USD bonus at the end of each semester ($5,000/year)
* $3,000 USD resigning bonus each additional year
* Working hours: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (first period starts at 8:50)
* 25 hours teaching per week
* Nearly 2.5 months paid vacation per year
* Housing or 400,000 won stipend provided (utilities and apartment fees to be paid by the teacher)
* 1/2 national health insurance and national pension paid according to Korean law
* Severance pay equal to 1 month's salary paid at the end of the contract |
