We have sent a good number of teachers in Chuncheon, and they love it there because it is close to Seoul (direct buses/train- and even a subway being constructed directly from Seoul). http://www.chuncheon.go.kr/Eng/ There is a great community of ESL teachers and exchange students from the university. Also, our teachers are involved with the English clubs from Gangwon National University which they seem to enjoy very much. The nightlife is great, and considering it is called the "lake city" there is much nature to enjoy as well. If you enjoy mountain climbing, skiing, hiking, bicycling, rock climbing, paragliding¡¦ this is a good city for you. They also have the International TaeKwonDo tournament and International Anime festival here as well. And FOOD- Dakgalbi (Chicken ribs)¡¦ So, okay, now I am showing off how much I know about this city. |
