Dear Daniel,
We do have afterschool programs, however those are available for F visa holders.
Those who qualify to work legally are those who are married to Korean citizens and this job is also available for Korean-Americans.
For E-2 visa holders, issue with afterschool programs, is that your visa would be sponsored by the principal of the public school.
However, you would be paid by the 3rd party, outsourcing company.
According to immigration law of Korea, this is not legal, and there are many problems currently with teachers at afterschool programs, and many are not aware that they are working illegally.
You may proceed with looking for afterschool programs, but we at Park English strictly follow the laws of Korea and would not put our teachers in jeopardy.
Please let us know if you would like our assistance in finding jobs other than afterschool programs.
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Park English Team
