I plead "no contest" to "simple assualt" in the U.S. a few years ago for getting into a fight at a party in college. No one was injured or anything, hence the "simple" part. It is considered a minor offense in the U.S., specifically a misdemeanor. I have no prior record and no record since but it may show on an FBI report even though it was not a conviction. I am aware of the new strict rules in Korea with the E-2 visa requirements so I am checking with you to make sure this will be okay before I apply. Thank you!
