I went home to England after my contract ended and told my boss that I wanted to start a new contract in February. He called that consulate and they said that they are not accepting visa applications right now because they are backed up from the new regulations. Is this true? Can I speed up the process in any way? Where can I find any concrete information about any of these new regulations?
