I have a very minor misdemeanor on my record from five years ago. I noticed in responses to similar questions about criminal records that Park English recommends one with such a record to refrain from applying to public schools, yet apply to private schools, in Korea due to the background check performed by the Ministry of Education.

That being said, does Park English facilitate the placement process of those wishing to teach at private institutions because of this very reason? If so, how might one go about beginning the application process with Park English seeing as how one is not granted access to the process if he or she answers yes to the question of criminal background?
