I've read the other questions and responses about bringing family, and I have some questions for further clarification please.
1. Are most employers willing to negotiate a housing stipend in lieu of the standard housing agreement?
2. Can my spouse find work in Korea other than teaching? Can that be addressed once we are in country, or does it have to be arranged prior to travel?
3. Is health insurance for the rest of the family (spouse and two dependents) cost prohibitive on a teacher's salary?
4. How bureaucratic is the whole process? Could I make arrangements once I arrive and have my family follow later, or is there serious risk of getting tied up in red tape and having to live apart from my family for a year?
5. This all seems so convoluted. Is it possible to have a natural exchange of dialogue with potential employers or anyone who might help with making arrangements prior to travel?
