Cutural Differences:

Tattoos are becoming a popular trend to the younger generation and becoming more acceptable.

However, the older generation Koreans tend to be very conservative and believe that tattoos have an association with the mafia.

This was usually the case in the past with Korean nationals. It is not usual to find people with tattoos that are not mafia related.

Tattoos are not nearly as accepted in Korea as in western society.

It would probably be a good idea to cover up your tattoos if possible.
