Bringing a pet is possible, but can limit your placement options and does involve a lot of paperwork; also it can be expensive. Large dogs can be very tricky and not many apartments in larger Korean cities accept them (smaller pets are easier), but again it is possible. Apartments in smaller and medium cities are typically more flexible, but again it depends on the specific apartment building.
