Since it typically takes about two or three weeks to gather your visa documents, you should start getting them together once you are definite you want to teach in Korea. As the visa process takes about a month after you sign a contract and have all your visa documents together, it is good to get your doucments together asap once you have decided teaching in Korea is right for you.
