Lena and Park English were great with helping me find A placement that suited my specific wants and needs. Other recruitment agencies attempted to cram me into a position in a location that I didn't want or with students who were not at the level I was prepared to teach at, but Park English offered me several positions and were very diligent in acquiring me the position I wanted. They kept in contact with me throughout the lengthy process of acquiring my visa and other pertinent documentation and even arranged for my pick-up from the airport. If you know what level/location you want to teach or are just wanting to teach anywhere in Korea Park English will guide you through the entire process with kindness and prompt responses that will ensure you get the placement you want.

Anytime you travel outside your native country, especially to a country whose language and employment system is foreign to you, having helpful people guide the way is a must. Park English from the start answered all my questions and made the process of being employed in a foreign country as smooth as possible. Their bilingual staff which includes former expats, where their to answer any questions I had pertaining to work and Korea in general. Compared to other teachers I have met here in Korea, I'm ever so thankful I made the decision to go through Park English when looking for work.
There are many new schools opening up in Korea all the time, and I have heard many the horror story of teachers who find a job through message boards on-line, and sometimes through employers them selves. English schools are a large market here in Korea, and having an experienced team of people to help you sift through these many schools is the greatest tool you can have when finding employment. Park English is a Government licensed agency, this fact alone made me feel Park English was the right choice. Also they are an American incorporated company which showed me they are committed in being a bridge between the East and West. Having people who understand where your from, and your native language, is something you cant just find any ware. Also, their experience with many different employers and finding people jobs, helped answer many of my questions that only a place like Park English could.
Do your self a favor, go through Park English when finding a job here in Korea. They will find you a good job, always be there to help, and their years of experience in helping others will become obvious once you hear the stories of people who didn't go through Park English. Thank you Park English for finding me such a good job.

Hi Lena,
Things are going great. I just moved into my apartment and it is so nice! It is the nicest Korean apartment I have seen so far. The school is also a brand new campus so the building is also very nice. Classes start on Monday so I'm excited to start my classes and get to know my students. All of the other foreign teachers and Korean teachers have made me feel very welcome so I have no complaints so far.
The Korean's are very nice.
Thanks for everything Lena, Avalon has been great so far by making accomadations for me. I was a little scared getting on the plane because of all of the horror stories of hagwans out there, but I must say that Park English and Avalon have made the move very easy for me! Thank you so much

Park English was a great, helpful recruiting agency which had wonderful people who helped me every step of the way in finding a teaching job in Korea. Even though I encountered some paperwork difficulties along the way, they were really patient with me & helped me work through all the obstacles. Park English helped me find a professional, legitimate school in Korea where I don't just babysit students. A big 'thank you' to Lena for always promptly replying back to me, answering my millions of questions, & for always keeping me up to date. I would definitely recommend Park English to other people! Their website is also very detailed with alot of helpful information to look over before moving to Korea!

Hello Louis
You and the Park English staff worked very hard to ensure that I experienced an easy transition to Korea. Park English responded right away to all of my questions and guided me along the steps to become an English teacher in Korea. You answered questions dealing with school location, work schedule, pay, and informed me far in advance of the documents I woul need to gather and the correct places to send them. The school that you found for me is professional and the kids are excitingly fun to teach. The other teachers at the school are very hospitable and have become good friends of mine. Currently, the school is organizing a Halloween drama and party, and the school is glad to have my help. I feel very lucky to have found Park English and would highly recommend your services to anyone looking to experience the great opportunity of becoming and English teacher in Korea!

Hey Lena,
Thank you for the email. Things are great here. I love Busan it is a gorgeous city to be in. I immediately fell in love with the Korean culture. My apartment in Dongnae is right across from the subway and 5 min walk from my school. Although my apartment is very small, i decorated it nicely. I have already been to cross roads and the basement.. hah.. and i love them both. I have not been shopping yet but I hope to soon, i love PNU.
My boss is very nice and teaching is going very well. I have no complaints so far. You did a great job. thank you so much lena, and hopefully we can meet up soon!

Hello Park English!
I used Park English and I am very happy with my placement. From speaking to other teachers who did not go through Park English, I feel very fortunate. My boss is nice and very professional, my coworkers are as well and the students and school can some days be more fun then work.

Hi Lena-
Things are great here in Taebaek! I've been wanting to write you and thank you for placing us in such a great city and school. The school director and the rest of the staff are so incredibly nice and patient. The students are amazing and well-behaved (for the most part) and they love having us at the school. The first week was a little difficult because we did not have any preparation but the director was patient and now Alison and I are in a great rhythm. The hours are not too long, and we get at least one break. The most I have to work in one day is 7 hours which is better than what some of my other friends are working in Seoul or Daegu. Our apartment is amazing too. It's on the 14th floor with a balcony that overlooks the city. It has a great kitchen, one bedroom and a living room with all the appliances needed. The school is just a 15 minute walk from our apartment and the small downtown section of the city is close too. Taebaek is a small city, but its beautiful and the people are so nice. We haven't met any Westerners yet, but we know that some live here, we just have to find them. I don't think we couldn't have gotten a better placement. Thank you so much Lena. If we need anything, we will let you know.

Hello Parkenglish
I just arrived in Korea on Saturday - and can't wait to start exploring it!
I love my school - the director and my colleagues are wonderful and the children are so sweet :)
They've gone out of their way to make me feel at home.
It's a wonderful working environment and I know I'm really going to enjoy my year here.
Thanks Park English for finding me such an amazing placement!
I would also like to thank the team at Park English for being there every step of the way - from initial contact all the way through to finding me a suitable position, arranging my flight and always being available should I ever need their help.
I highly recommend the team at Park English - who are friendly, professional and reliable - and promptly respond to any queries one might have.
Regards,
Monique

Hi Lena ,
Things are going great at the school. I really like the staff and Mrs. Lee (Grace) is really nice too. The students are the sweetest too! I think that I am adjusting quite well. I still don't feel comfortable riding a subway alone or taking a taxi alone yet, but I'm sure I will soon enough. Thanks again for all of your help and I will get in touch with you at a later date. I would like to try to come and say hello sometime when I'm in the area, so I'll let you know when that might be. Also, please keep me posted if other Park English teachers are planning on meeting up anywhere in the near future.
Keep in touch,
Dana

Hello Lena
The teaching position Park English helped locate for me in South Korea was a perfect match for my personality and lifestyle. I settled comfortably into the routine and could not have been placed in a more suitable environment. The recruiters really understood what kind of placement I needed and worked hard to find just the right one. I am so happy, thank you Park English!
Take care,
Chelsey

Hi Lena
I am loving Korea!! I've only been here about two weeks but you guys have put me at a really great school with awesome coworkers and employers. Everyone is so friendly here, and there's so much to do. Every day, I can walk down the same streets and still discover new things. :)
As far as Park English is concerned, you guys have been great. I was contacted the day after I posted my resume and spent 40 minutes on the phone getting all of my questions answered. And as far as the job search process, you were great at keeping me posted on the progress and finding a position that fit me well.
One thing I would recommend to future teachers: BRING CASH. I thought I'd be able to get money out of ATMs here but I was wrong. Global ATMs are few and far between, and I still haven't located one yet. I would recommend bringing a minimum of 600,000 won.
Anyway, Korea's awesome. Thanks Park English!!

Hi Lena,
Things are going really well here at school! The school is awesome and Suwon has been fantastic so far. I was a bit worried about being outside of Seoul, but I'm really glad that I chose somewhere outside of the city. Hope everything is well with you!

Hey Lena
How are you? Things are going well here. It's been about a month and I am adjusting well to the culture here in Korea. Anyways as for Park English, I found the agency extremely helpful and responsive. It was only a day after I applied that I was contacted from a Park English agent to get some information on me so that they could match me to a job. The agents were always there to answer any questions and help in anyway they could. In my case they were very helpful in arranging my flight since I had inflexible travel dates. All in all I found Park English to be a great recruiter and would recommend them to anyone thinking about teaching in Korea
