Anyone who applies for the E2 visa must submit a criminal record check and a medical check.

 

Successful applicants must also submit a medical check up issued from a qualified medical center after entering the country for an Alien Registeration Card application.

 

Anyone who applies for the visa through Korean Embassy/Consulate in his/her home country must conduct an interview with the consul (if requested) after submitting the application.

USA applicants need to get police back ground check, have it notarized by notary office or lawyer and then get an APOSTILLE from Secretary of State, Federal Court, any State Offices.

Canada applicants need to get the police back ground check, have it notarized by notary office or lawyer and then get it notarized by Korean Consulate.

UK applicants need either the Basic Disclosure Check or the Subject Access Check, have it notarized by notary office or lawyer and then get an APOSTILLE from Home Office.
