1.
I am writing to express my interest in being an English teacher in South Korea. Having extensive experience of Korean culture by providing English tutoring to Korean students over the past several years, the research and commissioning of Korean classical composers for my doctoral thesis, as well as having spent time in South Korea has created a deep passion for international education and a love and understanding of Korean culture, societal norms, and work ethic. I believe my extensive background and collaboration with the local and global Korean community makes me an excellent candidate to teach English in South Korea and I am excited for the opportunity to help Korean students develop their English ability while continuing to experience and develop a deeper understanding and immersion of South Korea.
